Built by estimators who got tired of fighting their spreadsheets
Division 7 Estimating didn't start in a software company. It started at an estimator's desk, in a folder of battle-tested Excel workbooks that priced real waterproofing jobs for years.
The story
Every serious waterproofing estimator has one: the spreadsheet. The one with a decade of coverage rates, packaging math, waste factors, and labor production baked into its cells. The one nobody else in the office fully understands, that breaks when a supplier changes a pail size, and that lives one bad "Save As" away from disaster.
Division 7 Estimating is what happens when you take those workbooks seriously instead of throwing them away. We rebuilt the logic of proven, brand-specific estimating worksheets — the coverage rates, the packaging and waste rules, the labor assumptions, the gross-margin pricing — as a modern platform, and then connected it to everything that surrounds an estimate: the CRM that feeds it, the proposal it becomes, the submittals, RFIs, daily logs, and closeout that follow when you win.
Generic construction software treats waterproofing as a line item. We treat it as the whole business.
What we believe
- Accuracy over speed — then speed too. A fast wrong number loses money faster. The engine is built to price the way a careful estimator prices, then automate it.
- Your rates are the product. Software shouldn't come with someone else's assumptions. Every deployment is configured around your materials, labor, and margins.
- The field is part of the estimate. Daily logs, RFIs, and closeout aren't afterthoughts — they're how the next estimate gets smarter.
- AI assists, professionals decide. Our AI features draft and summarize; a qualified estimator verifies every number before it goes out the door.
What we do
Two things, and they reinforce each other:
- The platform — waterproofing estimating and project management software, customized to each company during onboarding. See the features.
- The service — bespoke building envelope takeoffs, estimates, and proposals for contractors who need bid-week horsepower, starting at $150. Hire us.
If it wouldn't survive contact with a real bid day, it doesn't ship. That's the standard the software is held to, because it's the standard estimators are held to.
